Godfather 1

The movie was quite boring at first, but later showed its true potential. This potential being, action and conning (or smart thinking). I taught it was well filmed and recorded, including all overall effects, dubs, etc... Being very dark at was quite hard to recognize many of the non main characters, and not having any subtitles available made it VERY hard to understand the first time round. Basically, after watching it at home, I can say that it was well structured, it has a linear storyline, although some characters do narrate short stories, there are no flashbacks. Changing the subject to realistic effects; one can notice that killings were not shown as much. It looked a bit fake to tell the truth, but we must remember that this was 1972. I liked the performance of the actors, but I just could not figure out why the so miserably dis-understandable voice of Don Corleone (the original, played by Marlon Brando) Overall I must say I enjoyed watching it, and in fact, I plan on watching the rest of the trilogy.
